Description: This original copper plate engraving is designed, engraved, hand-printed, painted with watercolor and signed in pencil by artist Timothy Jon Struna. The edition is limited to 100. The "Wood End Light" was built in 1872, between Race Point and Long Point - at the elbow of the sandbar which surrounds Provincetown Harbor. This lighthouse is the sixth in a series of Cape Cod lighthouses at Christmastime. The original oil house, where the oil was stored to keep the light burning, is still standing to the left of the lighthouse. In 1981, solar panels and batteries were installed to power the light.
